At the northern end of Tobago, this beach is a somewhat large bay, also known as Man-o-War Bay for historical reasons. Although the entire beach is available for swimming, it is advisable to use the western section for such purposes since there is a lifeguard station, bathroom facilities, a small restaurant and available parking alongside the roadway.

A variety of trees namely coconut, almond and mango trees provide shade for bathers who prefer to bathe in shady areas. This bay is also good for snorkeling and kayaking, with souvenir booths and the availability of fish for purchase, being additional conveniences to be found on the beach.
