Matelot, located at the very tip of the north- eastern coastline is quite a drive, but well worth it. This secluded town takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and creates a very relaxing atmosphere for nature lovers. The Matelot Waterfall located 3 km upstream is sensational, and has a deep clear basin to refresh and swim. Beyond the falls, the large pools are a joy to explore.

Tip: The waterfall is small but the pools are great for bathing.
