Prior to the popularity of Maracas Beach with the construction of the Maracas North Coast Road, Cyril Bay was the popular north coast beach for sea bathers.  Starting on the north coast road, a descent to the beach leads to the exploration of Cyril Bay but on return, the uphill trek is more challenging thus taking a bit longer.

Being sheltered, there are no currents so the water is very inviting. Another point of interest is that there is a small waterfall on the beach for swimmers to indulge in, before the uphill climb back to the road.

Tips: Waterfall is relatively small.
