Ideal for camping, its wide, flat, sandy beach has ample space for erecting tents. Where the river meets the sea, there are several pools which are ideal for soaking, to cool down during a hot day. The water tends to be rough, which makes it ideal for surfing but not so ideal for non-swimmers.
