Rio Seco means ‘Dry River’ in Spanish. It seems unthinkable that this continuous supply of water can be called a dry river!

The River’s clean, cool water is a fantastic reward after a hike. The trail is situated atop the river bank, and is shaded by a canopy of rain forest. Numerous tree roots spread diagonally across the footpath, and there are two gentle streams to cross. This spot is ideal for a bath or splash, and there’s also the option to climb the rocks and jump 15 feet into the pool.
