It’s difficult to not be taken aback by the spectacular view from the lookout point on its western outskirts, just prior to the Windward Road descending into the village of Speyside. This lofty spot provides a panoramic view of Speyside, the turquoise reef-studded waters of Tyrrel’s Bay and the emerald green hillocks of Little Tobago and Goat Island. The Speyside Lookout which is located near Trois Rivieres atop the hill before reaching the heart of Speyside, provides magnificent views and wayside vendors ply their trade by selling local fruit and souvenirs. Though significantly developed in recent times to facilitate the diving industry, the small village of Speyside has remained subdued. Here one can find a tourist office, water sport operators, dive shops and good restaurants.
