Also known as Grafton Beach, this rugged, dark-sand beach provides good swimming, snorkeling and surfing, and is ideal for long walks and jogs. Generally, the waves are extremely powerful so it is advisable to err on the side of caution by staying close to the shoreline.

The north side of the beach, however, is calmest and offers reasonable snorkeling. This beach is one of the three beaches in Tobago where the endangered leather- back turtle comes ashore between March and June to lay its eggs, to be hatched three months later.
